Incorporation 

Arctic Intel Oy is a Finland based corporate establishment within the limited liability company structuring with official legal Finland registration number 3336171-8 (YTJ). 

 

On 1st June 2025, Arctic Intel Oy was officially accepted as a company that provides 'Social Services for Families' within the Finland Government Social Services Department. To become a Government-Approved Social Services Provider and cater for clients within the Social Services Department is a great privilege that differentiates the quality, trust, credibility of our company offerings.

Social and health care services
Regional State Administrative Agencies coordinate and monitor social and health care service providers and grant licences to private service providers. Social services include: social work, emergency social services, home services, informal care support
housing services, institutional care, family care, rehabilitation, services for children and families, services for the elderly services for the disabled, substance abuse services.

 

We coordinate and supervise both public and private social service providers. The purpose of our coordination and supervision efforts is to ensure that social services are provided in line with the rules and regulations. Our job is to ensure that all customers are treated equally and to prevent violations of legal protection. We coordinate and supervise services together with Valvira and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and, on the municipal level, with local authorities.

 

Licences of private social service providers
Private social service providers can apply for a licence through us. Private services complement the range of services provided by local authorities. The most common private social services are family and institutional care of children and adolescents assisted living services and home services.

 

 

* VALVIRA Finland (National Supervisory Authority for Welfare & Health) https://avi.fi/en/lapland  

Valvira is the central agency within the administrative sector of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, which provides guidance, supervision and grants licences. We supervise the appropriateness of social and health care, early childhood education and care, the alcohol trade, and environmental health care. We issue licences in the administrative sector of social and health care and offer guidance to the Regional State Administrative Agencies.

 

As of 2026, we will form part of the new Finnish Supervisory Agency. This new authority will assume all the duties of Valvira, most of the duties of the Regional State Administrative Agencies and the majority of the duties of the Environment and Natural Resources area of responsibility of the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment. The domain of the new authority will encompass areas such as health and social services, environment and education. Valvira employees will migrate to the new authority along with their duties. The authority will have some 2,000 employees around Finland. The new authority will unify licensing and supervisory practices and streamline licensing processes.
